XxSHADOWxX Posted June 15, 2011 Report Share Posted June 15, 2011 Does anyone else feel like manga chapters should come out more often.i like to read 30-40 chapters in one sitting so when i finally catch up to where the manga is its like i have to wait forever since 30-40 chapters takes like 8 months to come out.i know its hard work for the writters but just wondering if any one feels the same way Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It takes a lot of time to come up with the story, design any new characters that will make an appearance, make a basic storyboard, convert it into manga form and then doing all the ink tones.Frankly, I'm surprised those guys are able to pump out 20 pages a chapter per week EVERY week (except for certain holidays)It's one of the reasons I prefer manga over comics. While manga brings in 80 pages a week, comics usually do about only 30 and they still don't have any plot going. I honestly don't mind the lack in color all that much and it's good to stop reading a particular manga for a while so you can read another one, then wait a few months and come back to a whole stack of it in "tankoban" format. Wake Posted June 15, 2011 Report Share Posted June 15, 2011 Well chapters once a week, I really can't see how they would make the author go any faster then that, it really is impossible with all the work that goes into making a chapter. But for the manga that are ounce a month or even and actually especially the ones that just come out at random like DN Angel for example where I started reading that manga when I was 14 and its been 7 years and its gone up about only 25 chapters. Thats just not right. Unless it's a heath problem you owe it to your fans to make chapters faster. But at the same time I know that it takes them a long time to get through one chapter so I'm happy with whatever I can get my hands on when it comes out and I give all of the credit in the world to the writers and artists! I wait every week for a chapter and it feels like the excitement has died down. Once you catch up with a manga it's just as hard, if not worse, waiting a whole week for the next 20pgs or so. What's worse is the ones like soul eater that are monthly. I love reading like 25 chapters in a row.. but I guess that's why I branched out to new stuff.
