logic question/paradox

I'm assuming this has no definite answer? D: Boy that's going to bother me to hell and back...

I believe it would grow. One would believe that it wouldn't grow, because he's "telling the truth" per say, but in reality, if we assume that he is lying about his nose "supposedly" [going to grow], then it will grow.

I probably worded that horribly, but hopefully you understood it - Sidenote: I think its got some reverse psychology mumbo jumbo within it, to fully understand my theory that is.

No, because he isn't necessarily lying. He never said when it would grow, it could simply grow the next time he lies. So in reality he would in some way be telling the truth.

However if he said it and his nose grew then it wouldn't make sense because he said it would thus it would have been telling the truth and therefore wouldn't have grown.
