[Solved] what are linkbucks links?

i clicked many myanimelist links and then linkbucks tings shows up. it makes me scare bcoz i've xperienced scams. what are those and are they harmful.

LinkBucks is simply an advertisement program we have. It's set using javascript to autoload with any & all outgoing links (includes the downloads) so that when someone clicks a link going to another site it will display an advertisement. LinkBucks pays us for every time a link is clicked. You do not have to click the ad or anything at all. It simply being seen is enough. The money goes towards pay for the server for the site and to allow it so we don't have to ask for as much donations.

After the page is viewed you can make the linkbucks go away by removing the part in the address bar that is for it.
