† RazorDan Posted December 26, 2010 Report Share Posted December 26, 2010 Ok i heard this was placed on hiatus in 2009 due to Ai Yazawa falling ill. i loved the anime too and was wondering if anybody knows when/if the manga would re-start. also i heard there will be an anime sequel when the manga finishes, is this true? thanks! Wake Posted December 27, 2010 Report Share Posted December 27, 2010 I have not heard anything about more anime after the manga finishes from anyone I know to be legitimate source. All anyone really knows is Ai Yazawa was released from the hospital in late April of this year and is recovering, but that has been that only statement that has been released and that Ai Yazawa was unsure if she was going to continue the series or not. There has been no news since then. It was rumored that she started drawing early this month (December) and a few drawings were posted on her site, but it was not stated if this was new drawings or just some old stuff that was being shared and no news was posted if this meant if Ai Yazawa was trying to ramp up getting back into drawing for the NANA series or not.
