I was about 12 and at my friend's house and didn't really know what to think. After that, I didn't really watch much anime except Fooly Cooly, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop and Detective Conan on [adult-swim].The anime that REALLY got me hooked was Fullmetal Alchemist. Every Saturday night, I'd barracade myself in my room and turn the phone ringer off just to watch it. Now I like most any anime. Go figure! NewtypeS3 Posted September 23, 2011 Report Share Posted September 23, 2011 My first one was Akira, which I saw when I was but 8 years old back when the Sci-Fi Channel (long before they took the name SyFy) was showing Saturday Morning Anime. It was... outright bizarre, because it was almost entirely uncut, safe a few scenes of blurred nudity.
