† Shazi
Okay, I want to buy kingdom hearts re:chain of memories, but it's an american ps2 game, what I want to know is, will it work on my Australian ps3 (that already plays ps1 and ps2 games anyway so don't tell me "ps3's aren't backwards compatible", because mine is)Thanks in advanced
Nero D. Ace
i don't know about australian consoles. i do know that EVERY indian console can play ANY kind of disc, be it original or pirate.anyways, in a day or two, i'll be posting a method to "chip" your PS2/PS3, so that you can play burnt discs on them. i was originally going to post the PS2 one yesterday, but i decided to include the PS3 one as well.i'll PM you the link of the torrent i used to burn my disc, if you like. † Shazi
hmm, so you're saying that my ps3 should play the game, i hope so.no thanks to the bootleg copy, i prefer genuine games.
† ballard
PS3 games are region free, but unfortunately PS2 games aren't :\... I tried a PAL PS2 game on my NTSC PS3 and it didn't work for me D:... you probably have a PAL PS3. I'm pretty sure it would still be the same difference if you were to try an NTSC game on it. (I could be wrong though XD so please don't hate me if I am lol ...)http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26684146
† Shazi
okay, i got the game and put it in. the ps3 recognised it as a ps2 game, but it would play 'due to region restrictions' so it doesn't work.
