Final Fantasy 8 for PC help

Hello guys! Its been a long time since I've post on this site and I hope Im in the right place, So here is my question:

Does anyone here played FF8 for PC?

Im having trouble with this game, the graphics is not properly displayed

I don't know how to describe it but its like the pixels(if that is the right term)appears to be misaligned producing distorted view but it has no trouble displaying the cutscenes. This game have work previously with windows XP SP2 so it has something to do with the OS, however windows 7(my current OS) has a Compatibility Mode and I tried to used that but nothing changes.

Any information would be helpful, Pls help me out:happy:

well.. let's just say that ff8 for the pc is pretty much screwed, there isn't really much you can do, there are a few custom launchers out there that help to some extent, but I don't think they're compatible with windows 7, unlike ff7 no developer really put that much effort into 8, the only real solution you've got is to play the psx version.

idl is correct your OS is shit either go to xp or play the psx version

What is PSX ? Are you refferring to PS one? Im not that interested on consoles nowadays.

ps 1 is the same game as the PC version and can be used via emulator if you have enough processing power try EPSXE its googleable i played it perfectly on that
