Red Alert 3

The Joker

Recommended Posts

A game that I have just got back into during my re-run of all my ps3 games, and its a game that I STILL cannot make my mind up about...

Command & Conquer has gone a long way since its days on the PS1 and PC, and has even changed hands in terms of ownership from Westwood Studios to EA.

My problem with Red Alert 3 is this:

While indeed the game has come a long way in terms of interactivity, gameplay and graphics, it no longer feels like a true C&C game. The addition and of the Empire of the Rising Sun (a.k.a Japan) was a nice touch, especially with their anime-inspired units (see spoiler for what I mean) and their casting of George Taki as the Emperor, but something about it just doesn't feel right.

Has anyone else played this game and found this, or am I just being overly critical as a life-long C&C fan?

I have to agree,I really was anticipating the game until I bought it.the gameplay wasn't really kind of addictive as in usual c&c games.if I compare it to red alert 1 then I will say that red alert 1 is better.there's just that missing spot in that game, that is just my opinion..though I played it on pc and not ps so....
