Error 130 Triggered

Due to a recent change in Cloudflare's ruleset deployment there was a misconfiguration on our end that resulted in the forum throwing an Error 130 at anyone attempting to submit a direct message, a post, a thread, or status update.

 

This misconfiguration resulted in CF assuming any submission was a cross-site scripting attack and would ban the associated IP address.

 

Thanks to DarkRavie for bringing it to my attention and Nekone for looking into the matter, we've quickly resolved the issue by disabling the setting that resulted in the problem and when given the time will re-evaluate enabling it with the proper configuration.

In other words...in this episode of "When Nekone did a dumb thing and broke the site"... LOL

 

Won't happen again, I promise. Anything like that, will be incorporated into a planned maintenance window just like everything else we do with the site.
