The story of aspiring hero Lloyd Bannings continues in Trails to Azure!

 

Set just a few months after the events of Trails from Zero, a temporary peace has settled over Crossbell and the Special Support Section find themselves with newfound fame and status, thanks to their heroic actions.

 

However, the peace is soon broken with the rise of multiple organizations with ulterior motives. Framing these growing tensions is the increasing pressure from the Erebonian Empire and the Republic of Calvard, with Crossbell caught between them. With the safety of their home and the foundations of their team now on the line, Lloyd and his allies must gear themselves for the threats that loom ahead. Little do they know that Crossbell will soon become the stage for a climactic conflict that will determine its future...

Trails from Zero v1.4.12 Patch Notes

A number of changes have accumulated since the last patch, although most of them are either non-critical or only only apply in very rare circumstances. Here's the full log:

• Optimize text rendering, particularly reducing frame-time spikes when rendering new text at high FPS and with the fast text speed option enabled
• Allow the use of multiple controllers simultaneously
• Various Japanese text fixes
• Fix a legacy issue with a wrongly colored chest
• Several fixes to map collision geometry, either to make it impossible to get stuck or to prevent leaving bounds at specific FPS/turbo combinations
• Improved the handling of input rebinding reset
• Fix a minor potential memory leak related to the video player
• Fix rare potential soft-locks when closing shops
• Fix minor text issue in Crossbell Times issue 4
• Improve the description of some game options

Note that you can always revert to earlier versions of the game by selecting them in the Steam "Beta" menu.

 

Trails to Azure  v1.1.18 Patch Notes

In today's patch for Trails to Azure, we have gathered a large number of mostly relatively minor fixes and improvements:

• Optimize text rendering, particularly reducing frame-time spikes when rendering new text at high FPS and with the fast text speed option enabled
• Fixes to text and text layout issues in both Japanese and English
• Various fixes to map rendering and/or collision geometry
• Allow the use of multiple controllers simultaneously
• Display the correct button prompts in some circumstances when playing in Japanese
• Fix a small potential memory leak in the movie player
• Improve the handling of input binding reset
• Prevent a rare potential soft-lock when closing shops
• Limit maximum screen flashing speed of some effects with turbo

As always, in case you experience any regressions you can revert to prior versions of the game using the Steam "Beta" feature.
