CardGames
I'll admit it. Sony knows how to put on a DAMN GOOD Showcase. Because that's EXACTLY what it was.  down with Microsoft  I got my savior so I'm happy.

Because that's EXACTLY what it was. It certainly was. Opening with FF16 right off the bat blew lots of minds. In comparison the competitions showcases were vastly criticized for being lame or not showcasing much. Everything they included here was something being announced for the first time I believe? I don't think they included much that was known prior to the event (well there was RE8, and some obvious ports) which meant it was packed full of exciting new titles. Koby
 According to Oodle, the previous 8-9 GB/s IO bandwidth figure was provided by Sony by multiplying the 5.5 GB/s peak bandwidth of the PS5 SSD for the standard compression ratio of 1.45/1 or 1.64/1. However, when factoring in both Oodle Kraken and Oodle Texture, the developers of the technology have seen an impressive compression ratio of 3.16/1 for a texture set in a recent game; this would translate into an IO bandwidth peak of 17.38 GB/s.  td;lr if Oodle's statement about their techs potential is correct... it would mean the PS5's custom nvme will be up to roughly 5x faster than the Series X drive when fully utilized
