Koby
At their AnimeJapan 2019 booth on Saturday, animation production label DMM pictures teased an upcoming TV anime series based on the Soukou Musume online simulation role-playing game. The anime, titled Soukou Musume Senki, will be set in a world parallel to that of the video game.Soukou Musume was first released for PC in January 2018, but its service was suspended in June following a prolonged maintenance period. It is currently scheduled to relaunch in the summer of 2019. The project is part of the Danball Senki role-playing game series created by Level-5, but it is more closely related to the world of Danball Senki W, the second game in the series. Danball Senki, Danball Senki W, and their third iteration Danball Senki Wars all received TV anime adaptations between 2011 and 2013. In addition to the video game and anime, the Soukou Musume project will also release manga and plastic model kits based on the series characters. The manga series drawn by Hiroshi Kawamoto is currently serializing in the magazine CoroCoro Aniki.
