Is this a bad joke that the USA is play? To ban cussing for a week or more, just because a 17 kid says that its link to bullying and drugs...

I just find this sad, to see people believing that words control people... These people who believe in that needs see other reasons to before they think that words can do this. Maybe they was rise without values in there life? Maybe they just don't care and will do what they wish. (That is what free will is, isn't it?)

I think the whole idea of a "No Cussing" week is totally absurd. Why put so much effort into such an unimportant matter? Words are words. They are an expression of one self. It's true that you should be polite and not cuss under certain circumstances but to actually MAKE A LAW to prevent cussing is stupid.

I also loved how the article was talking about how some states have laws against cussing. "Mississippi fines $100 for cussing in public.". Yeah, I'm sure they enforce those laws! There is a law in California that says "The punishment for jumping off a building is death".

Yup, awesome laws! :D

In Texas if you tell someone to go fuck themselves they can sue you and you are forced to pay them $500. I've seen it happened to my grandma's ex-husband. He was an ass and deserved it though. xD

I agree though, it's fucking ridiculous some of these laws now. But it only goes to show there is no such thing as true freedom in today's society. <.< They say we are free but we can even use words from the dictionary.
