Read it so that you won't be confused if they ever follow the :re manga for the anime. I just reread the manga and just noticed that the 1st season of the anime changed a lot and didn't include other scenes.. and as for season 2, it didn't follow the manga (this shit right here, is totally different.. 1 ex. kaneki joining aogiri lol) There's a lot of stuffs you're missing if you don't read this.
