mZBxqh3.jpgThe official Twitter account of Hobby Japan's Seven Mortal Sins (sin Nanatsu no Taizai) television anime revealed on Wednesday that the series' fifth episode will not air as scheduled this Friday. The "Episode 4.5" compilation episode, titled "Masani Akuma no Shogyō..." (Exactly a Demon's Deed...), will air instead of the fifth episode. The anime's staff plan to air the fifth episode "next time."

The anime premiered on AT-X on April 14, and it also airs on Tokyo MX and BS11 in Japan. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs, and Funimation is offering a simuldub. The anime's official website lists the series with 12 episodes.

Crunchyroll describes the series:

Because she committed the sin of pride against God, the Great Angel Lucifer was cast into Hell and became a Fallen Angel. Also at the lowest level of Hell, the hierarchy of demons have sealed away Lucifer's powers. Lucifer had lost everything, but along with the Demon King of Envy, Leviathan, that admires Lucifer and a high school girl she met on Earth named Totsuka Maria, she becomes the Demon King of Pride Lucifer and begins her journey to revenge on the Seven Demon Kings of Hell. A book of Revelations with the “Seven Deadly Sins” portrayed by beautiful Demon Kings is about to begin.

Kinji Yoshimoto (Queen's Blade: The Exiled Virgin, Plastic Little) is directing the anime at TNK and Artland, and he is also credited for story concept, series composition, and color design. (Eri Umemoto is credited for color design alongside Yoshimoto.) Masashi Suzuki (The Sacred Blacksmith, Rail Wars!, Queen's Blade: Grimoire) is the main writer.
