E3 2016: TELLTALE'S WALKING DEAD SEASON 3 REVEAL COMING SUNDAY

The next chapter in Telltale Games' The Walking Dead series is coming later this year, but those itching for a sneak peek at season 3 can get their first look this Sunday—exclusively on IGN.

 

Tune in to IGN on Sunday, June 12 at 3 pm PT / 6 pm ET to see the unveiling of season 3 of Telltale's acclaimed Walking Dead series. While details are scarce until that reveal, Telltale promises the third season will be both a "bold new entry point" for the series in addition to being "a continuation of the saga that began with Lee and Clementine" in the game's first season.

 

 

Earlier this year, The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman said season 3 would be "checking in on Clementine" while also "getting pretty close to where we are in the comics currently." And just this week, Telltale Games Head of Creative Communications Job Stauffer revealed that season 3 is targeted for a fall launch.

 

 

Season 2 of Telltale's The Walking Dead wrapped up in 2014, and a Michonne-focused miniseries completed its run earlier this year.
