MEGA stores everything 'encrypted', which is why the direct link doesn't even let you download without the decryption key included in it, because it has to decrypt the contents to download. MEGA did this so they could claim ignorance as to what files are actually being uploaded. But either way, I don't think any file hosts offers the ability to extract specific contents from the file.
