Garo7
I have a question: Is there any point in converting True HD 5.1 or 6.1 to FLAC ? Or should I just mux the original True HD straight-up? I mean what is the real point of FLAC ? I notice it is larger than the lossless TrueHD track in its native format. Is the TrueHD compressed during encoding or something? I would not think so. I am just wondering if there is a benefit or reason for altering the native format of these lossless audio tracks to FLAC during encoding? Baal
People usually use 16bit FLAC's for releases. There is little difference between 16 bit and 24bit, but 16bit is half the size of 24.
