Beave Posted October 31, 2015 Report Share Posted October 31, 2015 Kyoto Animation announced at the KyoAni & Do Fan Days 2015 event and via the official Twitter of Hibike! Euphonium (Sound! Euphonium) that the series will be receiving a movie and a sequel TV anime. Based on the novel series written by Ayano Takeda, the series received a 13-episode anime adaptation in Spring 2015 by Kyoto Animation. The first Blu-ray and DVD volume charted in Oricon's weekly rankings in its first week, selling 5,683 and 872 copies, respectively.
