People rank it pretty low, 6.6 on myanimelist.net, but I give it 10/10 because it's very relateable and didn't have anything to annoy me. The series is old and doesn't have the typical cutesy tropes in romance anime like tsundere, yandere, himedere, dandere, coodere, etc... It has none of that stuff nor any flashy gaudy gay pretentious dudes that make me want to vomit.
