DeNA Confirms MyAnimeList Buyout

As big as MAL was, probably in the millions.


 


Crave bought it years ago, but they just ran it into the ground.


DeNA is actually trying to do new things with the site. Soon to feature Daisuki streams of Simulcast series as they premier, etc...


 


Though this also means they're doing away with some things such as the Fansub listings and ratings.


 


Years ago, I almost sold my old Final Fantasy fansite for $6,200 to some company but it fell through in the end. Had a couple other offers within 2-3k but ended up not selling and then just left the site there untouched for like 7 years until the domain just recently expired earlier this year.
