Hi everyone, I hate don't like introductions, so I'll stick to the template

Q: How did you find Kametsu?

A: I don't really remember. I guess I read about it in BBT.

Q: What do you think of the place so far?

A: I'll save my thoughts about the forced introduction for myself.

A: Not very active... probably?

A: Last five watched and not dropped on the halfway

A: Of all time? Who knows...

A: Playing games and reading books

It's technically not a forced introduction because no one made you have to register in the first place and seeing how this was intended as a discussion platform first and download community second, it only makes sense that an introduction be done. However the singular post needed to view the downloads doesn't technically have to be an intro either. You're able to have posted in any section open to discussion.

 

As for why we have the one post requirement, just take note that for over 6 years it was a 15 post requirement which was reduced to a single post requirement about a year ago. As to the actual reasoning behind it; it helps deter spambots, as well as deters those filehost link search & reporters. We find that the file host links do better at remaining up when the links aren't open for public consumption and bots. We also have several other modifications to the community to help detect, deter, or outright stop any such bots, spammers, and trolls.

 

I think you'll find that our community is pretty well organized and for the most part helpful, active, and friendly.
