Installing AMD Graphics Card Drivers without Installing Integrated GPU Drivers

As the title says by common sense I should be using the AMD GPU for display just wondering what if I don't install the integrated GPU.

Not entirely sure, but assuming you disable the generic Windows driver and have selected the right GPU in your BIOS, the system should work. Not sure why you would want (or need) to do this, though.

No idea.... You need to tell us more in detail, i.e. what kind of computer system you have.

 

In fact we have no idea if you even have integrated or a dedicated GPU. So therefore your question is ???

I thought about it after just posting, don't bother with anything. Windows updates should be fine, no need to tamper around with things you don't know.

Gigabyte Gaming 3 LGA 1150

i3-4130 w/ Intel HD Graphics 4400

Sapphire Radeon 270X GPU

Corsair CX500

Kingmax 4GB DDR3

Windows Ultimate x64

 

Question, Can I just install 270X graphics drivers only since the monitor will be connected to this card, without installing the drives for Intel Integrated HD 4400 GPU since the monitor will not be connected to the I/O ports.

 

Sorry I Didnt provide the details earlier its hard to type the entire thing in my phone while im away Lesson Learned.

Yes, by default your motherboard should not be using your integrated GPU. In fact I believe you can't use those ports, so no need for Intel HD Graphics drivers.

 

So you are good to go with just the AMD drivers.
