One thing is that I never really paid much attention to when a cartoon came out. When I was a kid, a cartoon was a cartoon; didn't matter when it was made. I guess I notice things like that a bit more often now, but the general idea still goes for me. What matters for me is whether I like it or not. Anything specific you enjoy?
