How are the Newer Versions?

I've played both Kingdom of Hearts 1 and 2 on the PS2 a while ago and recently replayed them, I loved them both I'm wondering in your guy's opinion, how has the game gotten? With most games over multiple iterations the story worsens and tends to bore me, and since this game is mainly story (at least in the old ones there was no multiplayer), how has it gotten?

I'm interested in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, but I no longer play hand-helds or buy hand-held consoles. Therefore I've only played Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2.

kingdom hearts chain of memories and 358/2 days werent as good as the ps2 kingdom hearts games but they were definately worth playing also i think the kingdom hearts 1 was the best but the other games in the series were definately fun and interesting

Man I've found it getting mroe awesome..with the exception of Chain of Memories..i don't count that, but it is key to the story line KH2 was earily the better one out of the 4 games released...just handles so well.

The game's story is what keeps me playing. I can't say much for KH:CoM's gameplay but I think the storyline's getting better

I like the original best. I didn't really like the whole card thing in COM, and I haven't played much of 358/2 Days, even though I own it. Also, I like the original storyline better than KH2. But there are some things from KH2 I like better, like the gummy ships. Don't get me wrong, they're all great, but the first one is hard to beat.

Not having another full game released is pretty annoying, but from what i understand KH:BBS isn't too bad, CoM wasn't great, and i haven't played 358/2, out of the 2 ps2 games kh2 was definantly better, alot of issues got fixed from no. 1.
