mrdozemon Posted January 6, 2014 Report Share Posted January 6, 2014 Firefox Error about java update needed I have been using Mozilla Firefox as my default browser on Windows 8 but recently it shows an error whenever I launch it. The error indicates that a java update is needed. When this error occurs I can’t close the browser and the whole computer lags. firebrand99 Posted January 30, 2014 Report Share Posted January 30, 2014 If you use Firefox addon NoScript which I really recomend, the default is no to java until a new website is allowed. Firefox definitely should not be showing a java error on launch. I agree reinstall but watch outthere is some suspicious java add sites out there so be careful from which one you downloadfrom.
