Capturing a Blu-ray load screen?

I thought I made a similar thread once before, but I can't find it. Last time, I was having trouble capturing images from a Blu-ray disc to make gifs. I found that I had to first rip the disc as like an avi format, then capture using KMPlayer.

 

But now, I'd like to capture a Blu-ray loading screen. On the Game of Thrones season one discs, the loading screen is a weirwood tree, and I thought it would make a really neat animated signature. But I'm lost as to how to go about ripping and capturing in order to create a gif.

 

I guess what it really boils down to is that I need a program that will 1.) allow me to rip a Blu-ray loading screen into an AVI format, or 2.) allow me to capture the playing Blu-ray into an avi format. Unless anyone has any other suggestions?

 

EDIT: I've googled it, and have found a lot of programs that allow capture of single images, but I need either a video or a series of images. I've also just tried to search for the images/video I'm looking for, but to no avail.

You can try using Camtasia Studios to capture video of it on your pc. Not to sure how well it'll work though.

Just rip the BD... I don't see why that is so hard. It wont be in avi format, because avi is for chumps.

You'll need DVDFab's Passkey or a similar product.

Or do it the old fashion way of screen capturing every frame hahaha!
