AxelVIII
While I was growing up, we never used (Some of us never heard of) the term "Foil", so my question is: What is/how do you define a "Foil Card"? Dark_Angel13
I've always known foil cards as holographic cards but to my knowledge not many yu gi oh cards have been like that, if any but idk, that's just what it means to me
Minkseru
A foil card has a layer of foiling in between the two other layers.
AxelVIII
Thanks Mink, but that doesn't help much. Thanks for the input though.
lemmingllama
Basically, its cards that the company released that look shiny(sometimes sparkly too). Typically it will be either the picture, the background/border, or the monster in the picture and the border. Also foils are normally worth 4-5 times as much as the normal card. AxelVIII
That's a better explanation, thank you Lemming.
Minkseru
The only exception is most promos, which are commonly foiled, are usually worth less due to the fact they are more easily obtained .
