So i have been wanting to get into Shippuden for some time now, the anime that is, but every time i try to start it i cannot get past the 3-4 ep mark, now what i want to know is what are some good things without spoilers that would be good to look forward to in order to stick with it. I like naruto, and know of a few of his fights but more so i also like the other ninjas, rock lee being a favorite.

Heeey I'll be getting back into Shippuden soon too. The latest DVD set came out so I'll be watching those once a week so I don't have to wait next time!

Um... Hmmm... It's hard to remember all the epic fights. The most recent ones I've seen is Jiraiya vs. Pain. That was interesting. Then there is the much hyped Sasuke vs. Itachi. It starts out really slow but it got better. You said you're at season 1. You'll be watching as they get Gaara back. There will be some puppet fights.

So yeah if you watch the sub. there is bound to be way better stuff since they are so ahead of us. Just make sure when you watch (if you want to, I personally don't) skip the fillers. I know Season 5 was very painful to watch. It just dragged on.

I find the first arc in shippuden the most amusing. I've watched around 220 episodes, after which I just got too tired of the fillers and the boring main characters, and I dropped it. By the way, this is just my opinion. Of course, the fights are amazing, the ideas are original and witty. Bottom line is, if you like anime which predominantly focus on the action sidestepping the role and the personalities of characters in the anime, you will like Naruto.

Well I'm not good at not "Spoiling" things for someone, so I can't say much. But I can tell you is I prefer (and a TON more than me) Shippuden more than the Original. Shippuden is ALL about the fights, for the first practcially 170 episodes it's all action pact. Of course afterwards it is, but you know those Fillers that people talke about? Yeah, for about 15 or so episodes after 170 it's all fillers, gets annoying and boring, I skipped about 7 episodes worth, because I wanted to get back to the "present" time of the show instead of learning more of the Original Naruto Show.

If you liked the action packed fights in the Original Naruto, well Shippuden is all about fights, but it's actually interesting, so even though the fights could take 20 Episodes to complete the whole fight, at least you are entertained, instead of some shows out there that drag a lot...

Currently (if you do not know), whether you like Dubbed or Subbed, Shippuden has 166 Episodes Dubbed, and then the rest is Subbed, which the entire series (to this date) is 303 Episodes and counting.
