I mades a new render . I found this pic floating around G+ and I just had to render it:

(render on left, original on right)

Also I forgot that I do all my own renders for sigs, so I dumped all the renders I've done into the showcase up top as well .

I think I might turn this one into a sig once I work up a good idea for it.

So I started on a sig design, and I think I'm on to something . This design is very foreign to what I'm used to making though so it's going to take me longer. I did a mockup of what I'm thinking combining some work in inkscape and GIMP to get this:

Of course that's not a finished signature. The red is also not exactly the color I want to use, I just got tired of looking at black and white ^^;. The overall shape of the sig is pretty set though. Nice thing about using shapes like I did in inkscape is that I can resize everything ^^. What I need now is a nice background for the right title bars, the circle around the character, and the background in the circle for the character. I also need to find a font to go with that design .

Done! You can see the sig in my post for now, but it's also saved forever in the OP . Look at how far the sig came since I posted the first glimpse :3.
