Gundam 00 is boss

This is the gundam series that popped my gundam cherry. wat other gundam series are good?

Pretty much every Gundam series I've seen has been good enough to recommend, but there are some OVA's and Specials not worth bothering with.

One of the best things I can recommend is a short 12 episode OVA entitled Gundam 08th MS Team. This OVA was excellent and featured more hand-to-hand Gundam combat rather then rely on flashy technique or abilities... and was all on-ground. No outer-space except first episode, and no in-air Gundam fights (well except maybe one against that floating Armor). I really enjoyed this though and can recommend it above most things Gundam in a line of series that really stand out.

I think my neighbor actually was talking to me about that one. He said he used to see it when he was a baby and the whole series is in a jungle. good stuff thx for recommendations

Gundam 00 is the best (why did it have to end why, I want them to make another season)

They are working on a movie for Gundam 00. Can't wait to see it.

Go check out the first episode of Gundam Unicorn, that series is going to be incredible.

Also, my personal favorite Gundam shows are Gundam 00, Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, and Gundam Wing, I would highly recommend all of those. (Though 0083 might not make a whole lot of sense if you haven't seen the original Mobile Suit Gundam)

I didn't care for Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. I had to force myself to actually finish it which is a first for a Gundam related Anime. It had nothing unique at all and the fights weren't up to par, and didn't really have much going for it with the story either. In my opinion pretty much anything else Gundam related beats it. :/

Aw, at the very least, you have to have liked the fight at the end between the GP-03 and whatever that Zeon mobile armor was called.

Gundam 00 was awesome with the exception of 2 facts

1. The most irritating and whiny characters Ive seen Saji Crossroad

2. The irrelevance of becoming an innovator at the end , it's just a waist of animation and effort to show him floating in space emitting a mass amount of G.N particles when he does nothing with the powers he has gained...

and their my only issues with it really.

I'd also suggest Gundam SEED (and SEED Destiny), great series, definitely worth watching.

For me its right up there with 00.

I heard Gundam SEED was the worst series out of all of the rest

note that I do not think its the worst, I just happened to hear that it is, actually the only reason I haven't watched it is because I heard this from people.

To each there own, every Gundam series seems to have its die hard fans that think its the best thing ever, critics that cant stand it, and some in between.

I loved it, I know people who love SEED and people who hate it. Hek just take a look at the Gundam SEED vs 00 vs Wing poll in the forum and you can see the contrast.

You can never really know until you see it yourself
