Pardon the title i didn't know how to the title this thread. Now i know what you guys are thinking sailor moon has been off the air for like 20yrs and this is a complete waste of a thread but i just have to ask. Well as you guys know this year is SM's 20th annivesary and the manga has been re-released in the US and is selling well. so i was thinking what if toei created a new sailor moon series that follows closer to the manga and cuts out the filler like Dragon Ball Z Kai and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. The thought crossed my mind when i started reading the manga and i'm loving it, i almost like it better then the anime because of the storyline and how the characters are potrayed and you get more of the story while the anime kind of goes off on it's own. so i figured a series should be made to follow the manga, i think it's a good idea i know it's probably not ever going to happen but i just wanted everybody's opinion on it. a side note do you think there should be a sailor v series or at least a ova episode?

That would definitely make marathoning the series a lot easier but some of the filler is part of the charm of an uber girly answer to DBZ.

A Sailor V series would be fucking awesome, along with maybe a five episode OVA series. Maybe the OVA could focus on other celestial systems so we could see how other Sailor Senshi would act.

I totally agree but the anime is like 200 episodes how many eps should it be in the end then?

It depends on how far it follows the manga the episodes will be different but if i were to guess maybe (gonig by how DBZ Kai & FMAB Endeded) maybe close to 100 or so i'm not sure
