Hercules vs Loki

So in a battle of these lesser deities, which would win?

Hercules is the son of Zeus and is known for his great strength. He was a killer of many mythological beasts and was also shown to be intelligent throughout. His favourite weapon was a gnarled club.

Loki is a full god, unlike Hercules and his demi-godness. He is the god of trickery and is seen as the most resourceful out of the Norse deities. Although not known for fighting prowess, he was the most technologically advanced of the Norse and has endless amounts of knowledge. Additionally, he was able to kill a full god before, which resulted in his persecution by the other gods.

Well this is a tough decision. Hercules has experience killing mythological beasts but he has never crossed paths with a god like Loki. Loki is very powerfull and intelligent. Also Loki is destined to fight Heimdallr a fellow god during Ragnarok where they will kill each other. Heimdallr is said to have foreknowledge about everything making him a powerfull opponent. The fact that Loki will be able to kill Heimdallr proves Loki's strength. So based on what we see here Loki will come out victorious if he faces of with Hercules.

Again we know that after his death Hercules was turned to a god by Zeus. So in his god form Hercules will be more powerful. Loki will have more trouble fighting god Hercules. Hercules with his experience in combat might just pull through here. So at last it's a 50-50. The match might even end as a tie. Neverthless this is a fight people would love to see.
