Dae314
101101001 <- fixedI believe lemming was referring to the physics that goes on at the electron level in the gates and such which would fall under "electricity and magnetism". Up until you get down to that point, you can pretty much ignore the physics and just say "the ALU does function x when given input 10010" or "the AND gate performs binary AND over the 2 input values". There's other macro physics stuff going on too like heat transfer between components and the heatsinks/fans and the air, electromagnetic interference, and other such things. Alegend1994
101101010Well I thought it would be more simple if it compared with physics, since I understand it better, but even that would make to a bit too complicated for me.
Dae314
101101011Ok so when you said that I immediately thought of a GIANT computer that basically ran on a massive repeating Rube Goldberg reaction that could change based on input (which would be placing things in certain spots) LOL. I bet you could actually design something like this; although it'd be an incredibly slow computer it'd also be really neat and interesting xD. Alegend1994
101101100Not sure where that came from but the idea sounds pretty good, like a mix between art and technology and Feng Shui =)
lemmingllama
101101101Lol, I would love a computer that runs off of Feng Shui
Alegend1994
101101110I wouldn't my computer would be completely broken from either being too clean or too messy. Then I would have to look into Feng Shui to find the optimum look, which is all opinionated, so I would never be happy with the result. It's making me go crazy just thinking about it!!! lemmingllama
101101111Oh I would never use it as my main computer. Just having it as a pet project. And with the right outlook, it could be super godly
Alegend1994
101110000It's like one of those rich people dreams instead of a room full of money I'm going to get a room dedicated to a Feng Shui computer, if you could find the perfect Feng Shui combination then the computer's power would be infinite. Alegend1994
101110010Lol well not sure if it matters since Feng Shui may not have any effect towards a sound body and a sound mind =)But it's more of a fashion image kind of thing now a days, so that's ruined the traditional part of it. Dae314
101110101I think it's a little extreme for most people...
lemmingllama
101110110Yeah. Anyways, I would rather have other people do the Feng Shui then tell me stuff
Dae314
101110111Typical scientist only wants to design the experiment and make other people do it and tell them what happened ^-^.
lemmingllama
101111000Untrue! Doing the experiments is normally much more fun. Its just that Feng Shui takes a certain mindset that I do not possess
Dae314
101111001Yes, but most often, YOU are not the one reacting or being studied. You watch other people/things react and study that reaction.
