Naruto: Which ninja clan would you want be a member of?

Uchiha Clan.

Because I could have access to all of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan abilities, as well as the Rinnegan abilities. Plus if I wanted the power of the Senju I would just steal some of Hashirama's DNA and implant it into myself.

I doubt you'd be alive, you know after the whole Uchiha massacre.

A Senju would make much more sense as you can steal a Sharingan and evolve it to a Rinnegan yourself. Although no one knows what happened to the Senju clan, for the most part it just silently vanished. o.O

So not a single person you mentioned 'escaped' the massacre persay.

I didn't quite get your last line but I think the Uchihas can evolve Sharingan to Rinnegan.

In the manga, the resurrected Madara has a Rinnegan and he stated it himself that he awakened it before his death(source:

And yes, I also think that the Senju clan is a much better choice than the Uchihas. Both can gain the power of the Sage of six paths, but the price of the Uchihas is too great. I mean, they have to kill their best friend and steal their brother's eye just to get the Eternal mangekyou.

So, if you ask me, I would either pick the Senju or the Uzumaki clan.

I was just joking about the ppl being alive comments if u didn't get that. My point was that just because I chose the Uchiha clan does not mean that I was necessarily part of the massacre. There may very well be Uchiha in other countries (for all we know) or I may be a Uchiha before the massacre even happened since I did not specify when I would be an Uchiha.

Like I said before, yes Uchiha can evolve the EMS to the Rinnegan provided they posses Senju DNA (like Madara and Tobi do after stealing it from Hashi which is exactly what I would do).

Rinnegan users (like Nagato) who are not Uchiha cannot (or have at least not been shown to) use Sharingan techs (i.e. Susanoo, etc) whereas Uchiha Rinnegan users (i.e. Tobi and Madara) can use both rinnegan and sharingan techniques so Uchiha with Rinnegan = Sharingan + Rinnegan whereas Senju with Rinnegan = Rinnegan.

Oh and Tobi is most definitely an Uchiha. If you don't take his words or motivations to be proof then the fact that he can deactivatehis sharingan should be proof enough when it has been shown that non-uchiha sharingan users (danzo, kakashi, etc) CANNOT deactivate theirs.
