onlyina4x4 Posted December 23, 2011 Report Share Posted December 23, 2011 If you are using a normal desktop or laptop and you didn't have a hard drive then you wouldn't have anything to boot from without some special configuration. Regardless, you should still be able to see your system files. Maybe your priveleges were blocked? Open up your command prompt and type "net user" and see if it says administrator, or type "dir" that should give you a list of whats available to you.
