It seems like every new Zelda came that comes out is my new favorite, haha. I just really love the series. Anyway, I like Skyward Sword. The controls are a little wierd at first, but that's kind of what makes it challenging and fun. I'm only in the second dungeon, so I'll have to wait until I finish the game to pass a FULL judgment.

it was in my opinion the best Zelda game i have ever played, i love how the story was just a perfect way to explain the origins of everything. i honestly liked it better than Oot, which has been my favourite for a long time, but ive liked every zelda game a lot that has been released in the past 15 or so years.

I've spent about a half hour a day playing since christmas and I just finished (some days I didn't play and some days I played over an hour so it all even's out) I've played Zelda since I was a kid and I don't remember ever being this obsessive. I thought it was absolutely amazing. From my perspective all Zelda games are a little linear. You can't really progress without collecting the needed equipment for the next dungeon and I did do a lot of back tracking to go after items I'd seen but couldn't reach with my current bag items. What I appreciated most was the multitude of save points. I'm an adult with a full time job and a house to keep up, I can't spend hours on end gaming like I could when I was younger. It was great to know that even if I had to drop what I was doing I could just pick up and keep going. I really enjoyed the graphic style too and I thought the story was very well done. Yeah, ok, I'm gushing now. But anyway, I loved Skyward Sword and I'm psyching myself up to play in Hero mode.

I thought that the story in Skyward Sword is the best out of all the Zelda games, and I'm pretty impressed with the cel-shaded graphics. However I think that the focus on sword combat is a step in the wrong direction, with the focus on sword play being at the front of the gameplay the incentive to use the various weapons that you find throughout the dungeons is greatly diminished.
