Dan Den Posted November 24, 2011 Report Share Posted November 24, 2011 Ok Here you go, these are some of the best supernatural shows I know/seen.HellsingGenres: action, drama, horror, supernaturalThemes: giant weapons, gore, military, police, religion, vampires, zombies Ok this series follows two paths, first there is the 13 episode series which follows the anime more than the manga. And then there is the 10 OVA only 44 episodes have been dubbed with parts 5-7 being released somewhere next year.My Opinion: Basically this is the kind of show you would expect from vampires, there are no faggy vampires shinning here. Only Vampires who are up and about to kill you, there blood, gore, vulgar language and what more would you expect.Personally,Ii prefer Hellsing Ultimate more. Reason being Hellsing Ultimate is a more violent version with bodies cut into pieces and blood splashing everywhere, that's why I like it. But I'd suggest watch the first series then the OVA, cause if you watch them the other way around, you will just drop the show after the second or third episode.Plot Summary: Hellsing follows the anti-heroic vampire, Alucard, and a police girl-turned-vampire, Seras Victoria, two vampires employed by the vampire-extermination group of England, the Hellsing Organization. Slowly but surely, through their active duty, they find a new breed of vampires beginning to arise. Plot Summary: - Hellsing Ultiimate - Vampires exist. It is the duty of Hellsing, a secret organization sponsored by the British government, to hide that frightening fact and protect the blissfully unaware populace. Along with its own personal army, Hellsing has secret weapons. Alucard, an incredibly powerful vampire, has been controlled by Hellsing for years. It is unclear how he feels about being a servant to the Hellsing family, but he certainly enjoys his job as a vampire exterminator. Seras is a fledgling vampire and former police woman. Although reluctant to embrace her new self, she is a valued member of the organization. Integra Hellsing, the current leader, is usually fully capable of fulfilling her duty, but lately, vampire activity has been on the rise. There is also an OVA but no date has been set for the English version of this OVA.My Opinion: What do you get when you zombie apocalypse mixed in with tons of fanservice, I'll tell you what you get Highschool Of The Dead. This is a pretty sweet series, the best I've seen in quite some time. It's just basically every anime watchers dream, but it could have been better if the creators focused more on the zombie killing than on the fanservice. Other than that I'd give this show a chance, it's great but it could have been greater.Plot Summary: A mysterious, lethal disease is on the loose worldwide, resulting in a catastrophic death rate of humanity, and the increasing rise of attacks, caused by the living dead.In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi High School shortly after it was attacked by zombies. The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.The story is initially narrated through the eyes of Takashi Komuro, one of the students who had survived in the initial outbreak.First try these and let me know if you want more.
