What has some of your first dates been like? First as in the one before all your others, or the one you shared with each different person you remember. or the date you had with your current partner.

My first date... I was 14-15 and the girl's mom had offered us a ride to the movies, I was like okay, then her mom and her aunt decided to sit in front of us the whole movie, so... yeah it was nice we shared a first kiss and thats about all we got away with. We stayed together for a year and a half, but she was a cheat so my heart was broken until I met someone new...

((I didn't know where a thread like this would be; in mako or balamb and tags didn't show up so I just made it))

My first date with my current boyfriend happened over a year ago on my little brother's birthday. We were originally going to wait till the weekend but my brothers were giving me shit for messing up the b-day plans. So I asked him if it would be alright to go during the week. It would have all gone smoothly if we hadn't ran into my cousin at Baskin Robbins. He asked "Who's this?" with a tough guy look on his face even though he was half his size and had a broken arm. So I looked at my now boyfriend and luckily he answered for me and said "I'm her friend" 'cause I didn't want to hurt his feelings when it was only out first date. After all that we spent some more time just talking and joking, he didn't get a kiss though. Ha-ha that took a couple more dates.

Kro had a first date of epic portions once, of epicness so awesome it was a sight to be hold.

Kro really liked this girl you see, really liked her, so he wanted to impress. She was also a girl who had somewhat expensive tastes. Kro had to spend to impress, so he had put on the best suit he owned, booked a reservation at a fancy Italian restaurant with a candle light dinner. Kro started out well, he remember what each and every fork was for, he held the door for the girl, pulled out her chair for her and was a polite young man for her. Remembered his please and thank yous even. Now this tale involves Kro, you have already figured something was going to go wrong, so here is what happened that sent this date into one of epic proportions. Now, Kro ordered then some nice fancy wine for us both to have. Now, Kro the man that he is, bumped the table with his leg when he fidgeted a bit because Kro cannot stay in one place for very long. That fidget bump caused her wine glass to spill on her. Kro face light up with shame and said he was sorry, and moved to assist her. That move was the true end of all things, as he knocked down not one, not two, not three but all four of the candles, lighting the table on fire! (WINE BURNSS!) That caused the people in the table around Kro and his date to jump, which actually set 2 other tables on fire!!!! The sprinklers went off and a mass exodus occurred and everyone fled for the doors as our brave firefighters came to the rescue! The day was saved by the men in yellow!

Kro did stay with that girl for 6 months though, so he did something right that day, not sure what in the end but it was something right.

My next first date after my "first" was interesting, she lived far away, a days drive. My mom offered to accompany me since it was snowing and decided to bring my aunt too. I was so nervous walking up her drive way, but she greeted me with a big smile, we only spent 20 minutes together in her house before a snow storm was coming and I had to leave. It was so nice she was an angel with the edge of a ninja, and so fun to be with. She lived with her sister and brother in law with their 4 now 5 children. When I was getting on my shoes she was behind me, she sat down beside me and rose when I rose, and some how we ended up with a goofy first kiss, she blamed me I blamed her, but we stood together for a few extra moments in each others arms before my mom yelled for me. We stayed together for a year. and even though we weren't officially dating we stayed close months after parting. but she hates me now. or just chooses not remember me. she is the one who inspire my writings.

My very first date... Well, I don't know if it counts as a date... because we were SUPPOSED to be doing homework.... and she kept being all flirty and showing off, and asked if I'd ever wanted another girl, and of course, I had to say that I'd always wanted other girls... and then we were all over eachother... It wasn't quite as much fun as it sounds... but we learned... Then I found out she was also "doing homework" with at least 3 other people... So I put an end to that...

First date with Sarah was a much quieter event... Err, that came out wrong... It was much less physical, but no less exciting. I'll save the rest of the story for another time.

First dates are hard to recall MOSTLY because most the men I dated we were friends even best friends first before we "dated" and it kind of all blurred together, I do remember a clear first date with my ex Evan because we were not even friends when we started dating (which is obviously very unusual for me) I use to work at a flower shop and he would come in twice a week and buy flowers and we would make small talk .. I ALWAYS assumed he had a girlfriend because he was buying flowers for someone. And one day I was in the back of the shop cleaning up and he asked Jin if I was in and he came and got me I asked him if I could help him with anything he asked what kind of flowers would I suggest to give a woman to ask her out. I found it very sweet and asked who he has been buying all these flowers for that he must be an expert by now. Instead of answering me he laughed and asked my favorite flower... I said I am not a fan of recieving flowers but I do love calla lilies..but I prefer them potted ... i showed him what we had.. he asked which one i liked most.. i pointed them out he said he would get those and we went back to the register he paid for them and then he handed the flower pot to me and asked if I would have dinner with him that night.. couldnt turn that down.. so I did ... we went to this bistro in santa cruz was lovely night out .. santa cruz sea side bistro in the summer ^_^ we took a walk on the beach (i know very cliche but Evan was such a classic romantique) and we danced on the beach too was very sweet.. went home a bit early cause i had class next morning and work.. but thats my most memorable first date.

I've never been on a real date before... Only once did something feel like a date. I know he felt the same way. I was waiting for my friend to stop by. When he did he asked me if I was hungry. Well I'm always hungry lol. So he took me out. We talked about where we wanna go, both agreed we want sushi. But I got him to try out the second sushi place in town with me. We sat facing each other, we talked about a lot of things. The whole time my face was flushed and I was shy. When the sushi came it was too big for my mouth so I covered over my face when I bit down so I wouldn't look like a pig lol. Something just felt really right to be there with him, to talk with him. I could tell he felt this too. He seemed, shy, interested. It's hard to explain with words lol. I see people as an essence. Kind of emotionally. It's complicated. I'm also very bad at explaining things. When we were done I subconsciously went for my wallet. I had to pay for every boyfriend or friend I've ever had. But he told me he'll pay and not to worry about it. I really liked him. It sucks things went wrong and it didn't end up happening
