Mahoromatic: Tadaima Okaeri Anime in October

An official site has opened for Mahoromatic: Tadaima Okaeri, a two-part television special edition scheduled to premiere on the BS-TBS satellite and cable channel on October 17 and 24. The television premiere will be followed by a DVD and Blu-ray Disc release on December 23.

Shouji Saeki is returning from Mahoromatic: Summer Special to direct this new work at the Gainax anime studio, and Kazuhiro Takamura is returning from every previous Mahoromatic anime project to design the characters and oversee the animation production. Also reprising their roles are most of the cast members and the musical composer Toshio Masuda. Tatsuhiko Urahata (Strawberry Panic!, Ichigo 100%) is writing the scripts based on Bow Ditama and Bunjuro Nakayama's original Mahoromatic manga.
