Luffy's mother

If you've seen very many shonen series you'll realize shonen characters usually don't have mothers. They were shipped off to various planets as babies, raised in a town of strangers, raised by dragons, drug addict / never raised them right, or if they did mention the existence of a woman/mother figure she was killed off long before the story started. It's a sad cliche for shonen, apparently if you have a mother who actually raised you right you'll never turn out into some invincible fighter. I mean look... the only one with a mother was Gohan and Trunks from DBZ and one turned into a book nerd and the other a ladies man.

I mentioned that one. Sure he had a mom but she wasn't really a mom. Heck she didn't watch out for him, or even seem to care about him till after he died. Her poor parenting skills were why he started off as nothing more than a delinquent.

Hmmm..what if Luffy's mom is exactly like Luffy now?? I mean, his personality resembles hers? Like Luffy is somehow a happy-go-lucky captain, a very happy person, got tons of friends, simple minded, and even enjoy much food as luffy's?? And oh! What if they look-a-like? That would be interesting... or rather the opposite?
