Nero D. Ace
So, i use MPC-HC with CCCP codec. When playing Small Encoded Dual-Audio anime episodes, I can't turn the subtitles off. It doesn't work when I press the "S" button or when I right-click and go into the Subtitles menu.Instead, when I right-click, the Subtitles menu appears faded. Can anyone tell me a way to turn the subtitles off? It kinda throws off the point of watching dubs.

If it's a dub file then the person who encoded it is even a bigger idiot than they already are and apparently hard-subbed the subtitles into the video picture. zolockit
Another method is right clicking on the video, going to properties (Shift+F10 works), then going to the mediainfo tab: If you scroll down and see Text #x with ASS, UTF-8, or others those are soft-subtitles that you can turn on or off.If not, yeah it's like Koby said, retards who hard-sub recklessly.
