I mean after seeing both of the in action, it doesn't seem like Shukaku is that much powerful.I can't help but agree with Saminyt here. I mean come on we saw what happened in the latest manga chapters. Naruto with the help from Kyubi was able to create a beast ball strong enough to take out five tailed beasts at once. Mind you the maximum source of chakra utilised to create this attack came from the Kyubi itself. So I can't help but think that Kyubi is the strongest among all the beasts. Shukaku seems to be more of a defense-mid range beast, using sand to stop all attacks while harrassing the opponent with sand until they are caught and crushed. The Kyuubi is a close range fighter that rips everything apart with chakra blasts and speed. So you cant really compare the two, since both are powerful but in their own way.
