But ppl have been saying that "claymore" is only a moderatly good anime, WTF!!!!Any suggestions for a bloke who likes animes similar to 'Claymore' and 'Death Note' would be great...This site kicks ass, lotta hard yards have gone into it, cheers for it all...Luke Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Wake Posted August 10, 2011 Report Share Posted August 10, 2011 Welcome to the site and I hope you continue to enjoy your stay As for Claymore... as an anime by it's self I think it was a great series, but comparing it to where it came from (the manga) I would say it's good not great. Maybe that's what the people you talk to meant. Really the only reason I say that is, the manga continues the story and the story only gets better from where the anime left off at about episode 22. After episode 22 the anime made it's own original ending so it could stop the series.Two anime's that I would recommend if you liked Claymore quite a bit is Trinity Blood and Blood Plus... Saw and loved Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop bu that was really it. Saw Rin Daughters of Mnemosyne a few months ago and got interested in anime again.
