Koby
If you like the way it is but it covers something you don't want covered you can always use the eraser tool at a low fill and low opacity to lighten up or remove things that block something. I find sometimes it works great to cover part of the face in a signature and sometimes it doesn't. It really depends on a sig by sig basis so I don't fully agree with Honey saying 'nothing should ever cover the face'. But in case you want to show a v2, it might help to use the eraser tool like I said to just lightly remove it from the face. If it looks a bit awkward you can always use the smudge tool around the edges. I often use a mix of the eraser and smudge tools for the majority of my work. Trend
V.3(second sig) looks great! Nice color coordination and it flows really well and the text pretty sweet. I can really see improvement, although V.1(first sig) looks better, the colors seem to pop out more.
Kekashi
ok, so this is another batch of work that might not be my greatest, but I still want to hear what you guys think, so here are four new sigs...
Hōtarō
Out of that batch, the first is the best. The focus stands out, it blends nicely with the background, and while the background has a lot going on, it fits well enough. The others need work, especially when it comes to blending. Generally, you don't want your focus to be transparent. You want it to stand out. The background is meant to compliment it. When it comes to backgrounds, there doesn't need to be a whole lot of stuff going on. Some of those look like there was too much going on and it's messy. Since it looks like you're using c4ds, use ones that compliment the render/focus - try to have some sort of flow.
