idl12
There is no other way to say it..... see for yourself screw this I'm gonna go back to age of empires 2-3 and pretend this never happened.
Koby
I probably will never play it, but that video doesn't actually show any game play either. It was just an fmv. (full motion video). Is it actually intended to be the next game or some kine of new MMO? Judging by the title I'd say the latter. It might not be too bad, but then again I've never been the one to get mad when someone changes game series I love until I actually see it ruined in the Final Fantasy series has been. I figure eventually all series that aren't Action-themed will eventually be changed/ruined into one.
Trend
I find the idea rather interesting, first off making it a completely online game and then making it free to play(with extras that are purchasable). As for the art style, I don't think they could make it too graphic intensive but I have to admit it does look funky, and from what I've read there will be a lot of customization options. It looks like even a netbook would have no problem playing it which is a good thing, considering a lot the new games coming out are very graphic intensive. idl12
The art style isn't what bothers me, the fact that it's another great RTS being turned into an MMO is, what's worse is that they seem to be dumbing it down to target a younger audience notice how that entire battle focused on being comical rather than violent, I mean a rain of arrows and clashing armies and not a single casualty? seriously? maybe I'm just overeacting because I'm seeing what appears to be a major derailment of one of my favorite RTS's but can you blame me? who's to say they won't just abandon the original game completely a la World of Warcraft. Trend
well I haven't seen much gameplay myself, but I hope they add violence to it.. The first age of empires is still my favorite though

I'm going to wait till an actual 'gameplay' video emerges before I hold judgement on it. Though to be honest I did thing the fmv was a bit too comical, but I do recall seeing a casualty as you saw all the various blood cells gushing out.
