What if the anime ended at episode 63? [spoiler]

I think, without looking back, that people would've really enjoyed it. I would've anyway. They were three great seasons. However, knowing what they've done with all these other seasons, I would've been fuming if they stopped. I'm glad it kept going; but those 63 episodes were great.

i think some people feel that it should've ended at episode 63 because of the filler arcs/stories that are made for anime-only. i think people wouldn't be complaining so much if they've continued right on with the Aizen storyline. the arcs that are made from the manga are all good and interesting, however, for people who don't read the manga wouldn't know that. i recommend that anyone who start watching the bleach series late, do a quick google to find out which arcs/seasons/episodes are taken from the manga and only watch those so you won't get bored of bleach. i started out pretty late watching the bleach series too, but didn't know so i watched everything! i almost give up on bleach a few episodes into the Bount arc because it was so damn boring and dragging! but i'm glad i stick it out, because it eventually got back to the Aizen storyline and went back to the same interesting format it was episodes 1-63. but there are so many filler arcs in between dragging the show that it's no surprise people who only watched the anime felt discontented and bored.

yea i agree with you, i dont mind long series so the number of episodes dont bother me, but the worhtless filler stuff does make it mind numbingly boring.

but yea your right, that could of worked. i would of been some what ok with it ending then, but i do enjoy the character building and skill progression that the other episodes bring to the show i would of felt kinda robbed in that aspect of it ending without seeing there full potential.

but episodes that deliver that are way to far apart from eachother

less filler would be nice

I totally disagree. Ignoring ALL of the fillers, Bleach is an incredible anime. Don't know what you're talking about with the animation... maybe the fillers and before Huco mundo arc had average animation, But it's gotten better and better. The current arcs animation is incredible, I'm really looking forward to these last 2 arcs of the series. It would be idiotic to end at 64, the story is all about Aizens corruption, plans and having saved Rukia they then need to figure out how the F to stop him.

I used to have problems with Bleach ages ago, when I would say it's just Protagonist gets a new powerup beats enemy, stronger enemy comes along protagonist gets another powerup etc... But i just don't take anime seriously like that anymore, it's about enjoying it and I really enjoy watching and reading Bleach. I've grown to love so many of the characters and there's still so much mystery in the series that draws you back again and again.

Every single bleach fan would have demanded that they continue after that.I know bleach is not as good as it was when it started but its not half as bad as you say it is ,My only issue with bleach was the fullbring arc,i felt like the fights dint have any drama.

yes it should have ended a lot sooner, i like bleach but it seemed like after a while it was extremely redundant. the fact that every time you turn around another one of ichigos friends started developing spiritual powers started taking away from the main plot established in the first few seasons.
