It seems all shonen is these days is some guy gets a power and is, for some odd reason, unreasonably godlike with his powers. I just feel like I'm watching Bleach and Naruto over and over and over again.Is there anything fresh and new out there. If so, post here!!! FakerFaux Posted June 4, 2011 Report Share Posted June 4, 2011 Something fresh and new you will not get it because the genres of now already existed.There are Animes that probably have not seen yet, genres that you probably have not touched.The trend now is the fanservice but If you really want to see something completely different, you must see Animes that proves that animation is not necessarily only for children.1-Now and Then, Here and There. This anime shows in a realistic way the horrors of war.2-Narutaru. This anime is what Pokemon would be with a macabre twist.3-Death Note.
