Its Ulquiorra Cifer because Yammy didn't ever try to pick a fight with him unlike he did with the others nor did he ever question him. Also according to Ulquiorra no one knew about his 2nd release so we don't even know if his Reitsa increased beyond Yammy's after it. According to Ulquiorra even Aizen didn't know about it.

First off I think Ulquiorra might be the strongest too, but it is important to note that if we claim that Ulquiorra (in his 2nd state) is stronger than released Yammy then we are also claiming that hollow Ichigo is stronger than the combined efforts of Kenpachi and Byakuya.

If you disagree with this point then you admit that Yammy is stonger than Ulquiorra by logic.

I would say it's a tie between Ulquirro and Yammy. As there is no common third party between the two, so I have no choice but to stick with two answers.

The common third party is Ichigo because he fights both of them at some point (although in Yammy's case he only attacks him) but at least that gives us a rough idea of how to compare the two.

I wouldn't call him a third party. Ichigo defeated Ulquirro 2nd release in his Hollowfied state(way above his normal strength) and fought Yammy while he was still the weakest Espada. If there were a third party that fought both of them at their full strength then we could get a proper estimate.

But I believe that Ulquirro is the strongest(though there isn't any hard evidence).

Yes but masked bankai ichigo attacks released Yammy with a full powered black getsuga tenshou in case you forgot. The attack knocks him down but he manages to get up unharmed.

If we take how masked bankai ichigo faired against ulquiorra and compare it to how easily yammy could defeat said form of ichigo then we can make at least a few assumptions and comparisons.

I actually don't remember that episode quite well coz I watched it many months ago so it would be pointless of me to argue anymore. But I would very much like to hear your conclusions regarding this matter as this question has been bugging me from yesterday.

If I get a reasonable answer, then I won't have to re watch the series again.

all I was saying is that we know how ichigo faired against ulquiorra with his mask on and we also know that ichigo in that same state hit yammy (released) with his strongest attack and yammy was knocked down but otherwise unharmed.

This is a very good point. But we also have to take in account of Ulquirro's(2nd release) speed and attack. It is quite clear that Yammy has greater endurance than Ulquirro and also that Ulquirro is much faster than Yammy. Now, who has the greater attack?

In my opinion, this is a type of question which we can never answer with 100% surety. So, it is better to pick the third answer i.e. undefined.
