† L4ugh
Don't know if this is what you are looking for or if you have tried it, but I use Network Meter. It is a widget for windows desktop gadget software that comes with vista/7. There is also a pretty nice cpu meter gadget they offer as well. →Speed←
That works fine for me, thanks! I hope it works for what Rikuo wants it for also but I think he wanted one that shows specific network usage like what program uses what amount of bandwidth and from which ip address etc, etc, not just for the entire network in general. Alright, I wish it could tell me program specific bandwidth, but I'm not gonna harp on about that. And as for Ip address, I only have the one computer...although sometime within the next year and a half, I do plan on getting for myself a laptop and a HTPC. Anyhoo, this program works great just as it is. Thanks speed!
wex101
Net Meter does the trick for me, hides nicely in the taskbar.http://www.softpedia.com/get/Network-Tools/Bandwidth-Tools/NetMeter.shtml
didgest
Just don't forget the difference between mbps and mb/s. example; i have a internet plan with download rate of 8000 mbps, meaning I download a file, my speed will say 1mb/s or 1000 kb/s.
